Brian O'Leary, PhD, Clinical Psychologist, Col (Ret.)

Dr. O’Leary brings over three decades of exceptional military and clinical experience, grounded in service, leadership, and a deep commitment to those who serve others. He began his career in 1993 as a Combat Medic, later commissioning as a Field Artillery Officer and stepping into multiple high-level leadership roles throughout his military career.
As an Army Psychologist, Dr. O’Leary completed his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and went on to serve as the first Brigade-level Psychologist for the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team.
His work continued at the highest levels of Special Operations, where he served as Command Psychologist for both the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and 1st Special Forces Command.
Beyond operational service, Dr. O’Leary has played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of military psychologists. At Tripler Army Medical Center, he led training programs that continue to impact psychologists serving across the Special Operations community today.
His academic background reflects both depth and strategic insight, holding a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Science, a Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, and a Master in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
Today, Dr. O’Leary continues to serve through consulting in national security and behavioral health, while advancing innovative approaches to treating mild traumatic brain injuries and enhancing recovery for veterans and first responders.
