Donna Saylor, MA, LPCC
Donna graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling.
Donna offers a combination of traditional talk therapy and skill-building techniques as well as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Eye Movement desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) an eye-movement therapy designed to decrease the emotional reactivity and distressing symptoms experienced following a traumatic event. Donna has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for 10 years. She has developed her skills working in substance abuse and dualdiagnoses, anxiety, depression as well as working with children, attachment and families. She has experience working with inpatient and outpatient clients. Donna uses a strength-based, person-centered approach to therapy.
She has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment Theory, Play Therapy, Mindfulness, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and EMDR.
