New Growth Counseling accepts all forms of payment. Insurance aside, we are able to accept major credit cards in the office or via our secure online patient portal once your account is established. New Growth Counseling accepts: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Union Pay, to name a few.
Our offices are located in Albuquerque at 2901 Juan Tabo, Suite 101A. Most of our patients enjoy in-office consultation. However, If you live outside of Albuquerque, have mobility issues, COVID-19 susceptibility issues, or you cannot leave your home for another reason, we have a secure tele-med program and can work with you using our secure video portal. All you need is internet access!
To start your healing journey, simply call our office or click one of the contact links on our website. One of our counselors will be in touch with you shortly to schedule a brief conversation about the issues you face. If you decide to move forward, you can make further arrangements to address your specific needs at that time.
Treatment starts with establishing a clear understanding of the issues to be addressed and the expected outcome. We start that discussion by having you fill out a patient intake packet which will help us to get to know each other. We then work together to develop clear goals and a treatment plan.
New Growth Counseling is 100% HIPAA compliant and is bound by law to contact you if there is a data breach or release that involves your personal information. Additionally, we are bound by HIPAA not to share any of your information without your explicit written consent. Our business associates are bound by the same HIPAA constraints through the Business Associate Agreements we retain. We are a paperless company, meaning we do not keep paper files of your personal information. All data is scanned into encrypted HIPAA compliant computing systems and paper files are shredded.
Should you need to release information to your doctor, employer, Social Security Administration or any other entity, you will be asked to fill out a “New Growth Counseling Release of Information” consent form, which will also be signed by your counselor. It must be initiated by you via FAX and then transacted via secure email.
Yes, we do reserve some emergency session slots for established patients only. It is always our goal to be a source of help when you need it.
