Classes Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am to 11am

At New Growth Counseling, LLC, we understand that first responders face unique challenges every day, from high-stress situations to life-and-death decisions, all of which can take a heavy toll on mental and emotional well-being. Sometimes, that stress leads to coping mechanisms that can become unhealthy, like substance use. That's why we are proud to offer our **First Responder Group to work on poor behaviors, substance abuse, and other addictive behaviors. Our program is designed specifically for the heroes who serve on the front lines.

Why Our First Responder Group is Different

We recognize the immense pressure that first responders face. Whether you’re a firefighter, police officer, EMT, or military personnel, the traumas that you witness can create a unique set of circumstances that require tailored care. Our group addresses these specific needs, providing a safe and confidential space to heal.

What You Can Expect:

Confidential, Compassionate Care: We understand the stigma that can surround substance use, particularly for first responders. Our team of licensed professionals is trained to provide a judgment-free, secure environment where healing begins.

Flexible Scheduling: Our program is designed to accommodate the demanding schedules of first responders. Whether you’re working shifts, or on call, we’ll work with you to ensure your healing process fits into your life.

Evidence-Based Treatment: Our group integrates therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and peer support groups, all with a focus on first responders. You’ll be guided by professionals who understand your world.

Peer Support: You won’t be alone on this journey. Our program connects you with other first responders who share your experiences. Together, you can build a community that fosters healing and growth.

Family Involvement: We believe that family is part of the healing process. Our program offers family therapy and education to help your loved ones understand what you’re going through and how they can support recovery.

Who is This Program For?: Our group is for first responders dealing with substance use and poor behaviours who are seeking help without needing to commit to inpatient care. This program is ideal if you’re looking for a more flexible treatment option that allows you to maintain your job and daily responsibilities while getting the help you need.
