Xochitl is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Juarez, Mexico. She was raised in El Paso, TX and lived in the Texas Panhandle area. She graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2015 with a master’s in social work.

Xochitl believes that anyone can accomplish their goals with the right tools, encouragement, and support of a caring professional. She is trained in Eye Movement and Desensitization (EMDR- phase 1),and utilized a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. Her services are provided via telehealth. Xochitl is multicultural and bilingual in English and Spanish. Yo creo que cualquierpersona puede lograr sus metas con los recursos adecuados, motivación y apoyo de un profesional humanitario. Son un profesionista de la salud con capacitación en la modalidad de terapia EMDR (fase 1) proveo servicios por medio de TeleSalud.

Xochitl serves a varied population– youth, adults, and families. I also have experience working with groups, domestic violence victims, hospice, bereavement/grief and completed phase 1 of EMDR Basic Training. She has experience with family skills training and parenting classes. Xochitl has also provided direct care as a traveling social worker and case manager and treatment guardian. She has worked at a psychiatric facility working with diverse groups, aiding during crisis, and conducting mental health assessments and support groups. She has also worked in an outpatient clinic working with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma.

Xochitl believes in self-care and the importance of enjoying her free time to be able to help others. She enjoys reading, walking, swimming, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her family.
